It was a friends birthday and it has become a thing that I make a whole load of cakes and cupcakes for us all to have so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to give them a try!
I made a red velvet sponge, crumbled it up and mixed it back together with vanilla buttercream then coated them in red candy coating and white chocolate. They were absolutely lovely and I even had some left over to give to a friend when we went round to visit them....absolutely the perfect edible gift!
